Case File · Anganwadi Karyakartri, Kendra Pisawa II

Her Life Was Filed
As Service. We Reopened It
As a Foundation.

Mata Mundra Devi Charitable Foundation was founded in memory of Smt. Mundra Devi — married in Class 8, First Division at twenty-six, graduated at forty-five, and an Anganwadi worker for twenty-three years until she lost her life on COVID duty, 4 July 2020.

The Turning Point

She was a private candidate — no school, no teacher, no classmates, no timetable. Just the syllabus, and the examination hall at the end of it.

Core

Girl Education

She was married in Class 8 and spent thirty-two years getting the degree she should have had at twenty-one. We fund fees, books, uniforms and transport for girls in Classes 6–12, and counsel parents directly — because most withdrawals are decided at home, not at school.

Case Continued

Her journey ended.
Her purpose didn't.

Every year on 4 July — the day she lost her life on duty — we hold a community food drive in her memory, and we run community food drives frequently through the year besides.
