Where Our Mission
Meets Action.
Our programmes focus on practical areas of community support, including food assistance, menstrual health, education, emergency relief, clothing support and community initiatives — all guided by our commitment to dignity, care and meaningful service.
Food Distribution
Cooked meals and dry ration support for individuals, families and communities facing food insecurity, provided through community-focused distribution initiatives conducted throughout the year.
Our food distribution initiatives are organised around the needs of the communities we serve. Depending on the circumstances, support may include freshly prepared meals or essential dry-ration supplies delivered directly to individuals and families who need assistance.
Each initiative is planned according to local requirements, available resources and the number of beneficiaries being supported, with an emphasis on direct and meaningful distribution.
What This Looks Like
- Hot cooked meals served on the day
- Dry ration kits for households to take home
- Run directly by volunteers, not outsourced
Menstrual Health & Pad Distribution
Awareness sessions and menstrual hygiene support for adolescent girls and women, combining practical education with access to essential menstrual hygiene products.
Smt. Mundra Devi ran Kishori Diwas for adolescent girls for twenty-three years at Kendra Pisawa II — sessions built around one message: stay in school, keep clean, don't let silence around a normal biological process cost you an education.
Our initiatives combine age-appropriate awareness sessions with the distribution of sanitary napkins and other essential hygiene support. Where appropriate, conversations may also include parents and other members of the community, helping create a more supportive environment around menstrual health.
What This Looks Like
- Age-appropriate awareness sessions, run with care
- Free sanitary napkin packs distributed on the spot
- Separate conversations for mothers and boys
Girl Education
She was married in Class 8 and spent thirty-two years getting the degree she should have had at twenty-one. This programme exists so no girl we can reach has to take the long way round.
We fund school fees, books, uniforms and transport for girls in Classes 6 to 12 on a case-by-case basis, and — just as importantly — we counsel parents directly, because most withdrawals from school are decided at home, not at school.
This programme hasn't yet run as a large public drive the way our food and menstrual health work has. It is live and funded on a request basis: if you know a girl at risk of being pulled out of school, write to us. We would rather grow this quietly, one girl at a time, than announce numbers we can't yet stand behind.
What This Looks Like
- Fees, books, uniforms and transport support
- Direct conversations with parents, not just paperwork
- Case-by-case, assessed individually
Emergency & Accident Relief
She was certified fit for civil defence service in 2005. She was called on to give it in 2020. This programme is our answer to that same call — help for families when an accident upends everything at once.
Medical expense support and family assistance for victims of accidents, burns and serious injury — the kind of emergency that doesn't wait for a fundraising cycle. Families reach out directly, we assess what's needed, and we move as quickly as our resources allow.
Like Girl Education, this is a standing commitment rather than a scheduled drive — because emergencies, by definition, don't run on a calendar.
What This Looks Like
- Medical expense support, assessed case by case
- Direct family assistance during recovery
- Fast response — no waiting for a scheduled drive
Clothing & Winter Relief
Clean, wearable clothing for children and the elderly through the winter months
We will provide clean, wearable clothing and essential winter support to people and families facing difficult circumstances, with particular attention to children and elderly individuals who may need additional seasonal assistance.
If you would like to contribute clothing or support this initiative, you can get in touch with us and help us extend this support to communities in need.
What's Planned
- Clean, sorted, seasonally appropriate clothing
- Priority for children and the elderly

The honest answers, before you ask.
We work across areas such as food support, menstrual health, education, clothing and seasonal relief, emergency assistance and community-focused initiatives. Our programmes are designed around practical needs and aim to provide direct and meaningful support.
Support is intended for individuals, families and communities facing genuine social, educational, health or economic challenges. Assistance is considered according to the nature of the need and the Foundation's programme areas.
You can contact us with details of the individual, family or community requiring assistance. Our team reviews each request based on the circumstances and the type of support that may be appropriate.
You can contribute through donations, volunteering, community participation or by supporting specific initiatives. Organisations and businesses can also explore partnership and CSR opportunities with the Foundation.

Every programme above traces back to one woman's twenty-three years of service. Supporting any of them keeps that work going.
